"Me, my wife, and our five children all loved this holiday. The cottage was more than big enough and we found so much to do in the local area. Blenheim Palace, Warwick Castle and Stratford-upon-Avon were all reachable and all great days out. The village pub was most accommodating and served us some great food. The cottage was excellent, the owners had thought of everything. They even left us two bottles of wine and a pint of milk for our arrival. Our focus is on fabulous country homes in beautiful holiday destinations around the UK, initially centred on the Cotswolds. Each unique holiday home has an abundance of character to make your holiday even more special.

Having an Eye for the Perfect Cotswold Holiday Cottage

As our name implies, we limit ourselves to the very best of properties that exude character – exposed beams, period features, open fireplaces and breathtaking views. We generally avoid town centres, and focus more on those picture-perfect villages "just down the road", to ensure our guests get the privacy and peace and quiet they deserve on holiday, whilst still being on the doorstep of all the usual attractions, shops and facilities.

Every holiday cottage is carefully inspected by one of the Character Cottages team to ensure it meets our high standards of location, layout, furnishings, equipment (including modern facilities such as wireless broadband) and health and safety.
